# Local observers and the shared organizing whole

Source: direct founder clarification and supplied profile illustration, 2026-09-08.
Status: editorial source capture and explicit prototype interpretation; not a canonical promotion or empirical result.

## Founder’s distinction

The founder asks for the possibility torus around every observer to remain visible inside a shared reality. Each observer has local possibilities and a situated point of reference. Their choices and alignment change the combinations of possibilities available in their shared world. The wider whole has a self in the founder’s interpretation: it observes local observers and returns a direction toward continuity. The model should let a reader compare one, two, and many local observers, and inspect the same process in two and three dimensions.

This paragraph is a grammar-cleaned capture, not a verbatim quotation. The original conversation and supplied image remain the source context.

## What the profile illustration makes ambiguous

- One golden human at the centre can appear to own or control all other observers. A selected reference is not automatically the whole Mind, Source, or a superior person.
- One surrounding field does not clearly show which possibility torus belongs to each local observer.
- The spatial intersection of drawn curves is not automatically the full shared reality or a common feasible range of states.
- Maximum alignment, personal worth, a proposed numerical target, and whole-level continuity are separate meanings.

## What this prototype implements

The existing reduced relation engine retains local positions, phase, q, choice, and delayed neighbour buffers. All views read the same states. The volume renderer maps phase to the torus’s large cycle and q to its tube angle; this extra display angle does not establish a second independent dynamical cycle. The retained z coordinate follows the engine’s declared progression rule. The enclosing ellipsoid is a membership outline, not a physical field boundary.

An optional whole-level controller observes delayed local q values, retains their mean, and prepares a correction toward the declared target for later local updates. Its channels are additional global relations, shown separately from geometric neighbour links. Without a positive-width common q interval, the return is inactive. Disabling it restores the original reduced engine dynamics. Local choice is not replaced by a central observer’s choice.

Inactive means the retained mean and sample count freeze and the correction is not applied; the raw mean is still available as a diagnostic. Readouts identify the observation's source tick and the earlier tick that prepared the applied correction. The record's small ring marker encodes its retained mean q, while moving channel cues indicate direction rather than tracked messages.

For legibility, fields away from the shared group centroid have a fixed radial display tilt of 0.55 radians. Translating the group preserves these relative poses; the arbitrary world origin does not privilege the first participant. This is a renderer-only pose, not an additional force, phase, or engine rule. The transparent wireframe is depth-sorted by curve and keeps interior structure visible; it does not model solid-surface occlusion.

The controller has no access to private human experience, no predictive self-model, and no demonstrated consciousness. It illustrates an authored functional return, not the entire recursive Mind runtime or a proof of cosmic selfhood. The source’s stronger architecture and the founder’s interpretation remain available for investigation.

The moral purpose remains cooperation without erasing difference: no colour, status, race, faith, or position on a diagram makes a person more or less worthy.
