Foundation · seven reading layers
Manifestation: a situated consequential expression
Manifestation is a possibility expressed as an actual distinction with relations and consequences. It can be followed from a position in a history.
Current Source DNA explanation. Each layer opens another view of the same identity; the original passages keep their own review state.
The central idea
Manifestation is a possibility expressed as an actual distinction with relations and consequences. It can be followed from a position in a history.

What it means
A manifestation has a particular relational situation: what differs, what it can meet and what changes as a result. It is not limited to what is visible on a screen or to a familiar material object.
How it connects
Its inside, outside and relation provide the distinction. Constraint shapes available continuation. Lag separates consequential positions; return and retained influence can connect one encounter to another. A pattern may be shared by many manifestations with different histories.

Geometry and representation
A drawing can show an instant, a trail can show selected history and a matrix can show a transformation. Each is a projection with omissions. Identical silhouettes do not establish identical state, lineage or mechanism.

How it works
Initialize the accepted knowledge relations once per source revision and let observers move through that map. Separately initialize a simulation with its declared state and update law. A source query returns knowledge; a numerical projection returns modeled behavior. Their contracts say which kind of manifestation is being presented.

Across different subjects
A product, action or event can be read as a situated manifestation in the old SEM examples. The reading becomes explanatory when its actual process and relations are given. A broad similarity of labels is only the starting point for that work.

What an observer can examine
The observer sees what the current reference and access make available. More views can reveal another layer of the same manifested identity. They do not require the website to surrender its authored order or look and feel.

Engine: relation in operation →
describes-operation-of
A declared operation explains a situated expression and its consequential history.

Dimension: an earned way of differing →
has-consequential-variation
A dimension concerns repeatable non-redundant variation at a reference; added labels alone do not generate it.
Relation provenance

Lag: the separation of consequential encounters →
has-ordered-distinction-through
Lag separates initiating and responding events in manifestation; it does not make Source temporal.

Meaning: role, interpretation and consequence →
can-reorient
An interpretation becomes operationally consequential when its returned influence changes later attention, comparison, action or relation. The available return path must be shown; a statement that an event has meaning is not itself proof that such a change occurred.
Mind-Structure: the whole in recursive relation →
organizes-reading-of
Manifestation is examined as a whole with internal and surrounding relations, not as an isolated object disconnected from Mind-Structure.

Noise: activity before a line is held →
belongs-to
Noise names active changes within a manifested history. Source possibility is not itself a noisy motion.
Probability: how possible continuations are weighted →
describes
A probability statement describes how specified possible outcomes are weighted before a passage is completed. It does not guarantee that the more favored outcome manifests, nor that its appearance preserves the same line.

Residue, trace and memory: consequence carried forward →
belongs-to-consequential-history
An event leaving a carrier changed, a retained difference surviving, and another event using it are distinctions within manifested history. They do not describe Source possibility undergoing temporal variation.
