One point, N possibilities held together at Source with no alternation until a delay
divides one constant total period T among them: delayPerState = T / N.
Frequency is the reciprocal of that delay, not chosen separately. Amplitude (the
circle's radius) stays fixed at 1 no matter how finely N divides it. Numerically
validated in test/mind-possibility-oscillator.test.js.
