This is the portable, privacy-preserving account of the five-root exact-byte census. It reports source aliases and aggregate counts only. Local roots, filenames, archive-entry paths, modification times, and full alias lists are deliberately withheld.

Across all roots, 11286 file aliases were observed and 1422 unique candidate byte identities remained after exclusion and SHA-256 deduplication. Exact repetition improves recovery; it is not independent proof.
