## Author correction

Seven was not invented and is not merely an author-selected simulator count. The reason for seven is already in the Structure of Mind source. Y-Theory uses a normalized ten-part address metric: a directed partition from contraction to expansion. The two-thirds continuity limit lies in its seventh part, and the expansion-facing golden share also lies in its seventh part. The source then recursively reuses that expansion-facing continuity address as the Mind-depth turning relation.

The purpose of the band is relational continuity. An identity must be able to contract and expand without losing enough of the formative relation for its history to remain recoverable. The golden-facing seventh position supplies direction inside that continuity band. When the same continuity law self-applies recursively, seven becomes the depth address through which the relation can return into a changed first depth.

The twelve-address structure is a different count. `3 + 9 = 12` describes the triadic roles and their first recursive self-expression inside each depth. It does not compete with the seven depths.

The earlier audit repeatedly asked for a separate primitive-count theorem and then described seven only as “author-confirmed.” That was the wrong proof question. The internal Y-Theory derivation is relational and positional: ten-part metric, one-third/two-thirds continuity envelope, golden return, expansion-facing seventh address, recursive self-application, and relation-preserving return. External domain instantiation remains a separate proposition-specific question and must not be appended as a downgrade to every statement of the internal architecture.

## Exact normalized addresses

For the one-based ten-part address metric

\[
B_k=[(k-1)/10,k/10)\quad(1\le k<10),
\qquad B_{10}=[0.9,1],
\]

the upper continuity boundary and expansion-facing golden share satisfy

\[
\frac23=0.666\ldots\in B_7,
\qquad
\frac1\varphi\approx0.618\ldots\in B_7.
\]

The complementary golden share satisfies

\[
\frac1{\varphi^2}\approx0.382\ldots\in B_4.
\]

Thus the expansion-facing continuity and golden-return addresses agree at seven while the complementary orientation remains recoverable at four.

## Required propagation

- Treat exact seven as internally derived in current Y-Theory under the declared normalized ten-part address metric, adjacent-inheritance, recoverable-relation, and recursive self-similarity premises.
- Replace the repeated “author-confirmed but not derived” and “non-deriving correspondence” wording in the Living Source, proof audits, claim registry, topology, Teacher, tests, and release metadata.
- Preserve the earlier wording only as superseded audit lineage.
- Preserve `3 + 9 = 12` as the address cell inside every one of the seven depths.
- Keep simulator counterfactual `N` runs as implementation sensitivity checks; they do not select the source architecture.
- Keep external empirical claims proposition-scoped and separate from the internal derivation.
