What is Y-Theory?

What makes
existence possible?

Y-Theory is a theory of existence: an explanation of how anything can form, remain itself through change, and become part of something larger.

It brings quantum and classical physics, cosmology, chemistry, biology, consciousness, and belief into one connected inquiry. What do their different explanations reveal about the reality they share?

The question beneath “how.”

Think of a tree. It grows, exchanges matter with its surroundings, and changes through the seasons—yet it remains a tree. What allows that identity to continue?

Ask the same question of an atom, a living cell, or yourself. How does something become distinct? Why does it hold together? Why are there laws through which it changes? And why is there existence at all, rather than nothing?

A theory of everything begins with existence itself.

Every subject studies something that exists. Y-Theory looks for the structure connecting those subjects: not only how one thing works, but what allows any reality—and an experience within it—to be possible.

Its purpose reaches beyond explanation: understanding our place in reality, finding direction, and learning how to build a better shared future. That is where the journey begins.
