Supplied explanation

The author’s later clarification is not merely that there are many levels. It is that identities and their relations form groups which can remain available after attention moves elsewhere. A later encounter may reactivate one member, reopen a whole group, or connect groups that were previously separate. The recovered relation-network source already proposes one-to-many expansion, many-to-one return and later enrichment.

Hierarchical depth asks how a relation becomes a term within a more encompassing relation. Dimensional spread asks in which distinct ways the relation can vary or matter. Resolution asks how finely a distinction can be recovered. One encounter may involve timing, trust, obligation, sensation and anticipated consequence without placing those on a single physical staircase. The source’s seven-depth model is a declared architecture; merely selecting seven analytical labels does not independently recover it.

In Joseph’s account, the later entrustment of another son reopens the earlier entrustment of Joseph. In 12:80, the recent pledge and the earlier failure are both invoked within a present commitment. This is a textual case of relations between earlier relational groups. The commitment is stated, not a complete record of all future behavior. The same people can simultaneously participate in kinship, provision and responsibility relations, so their group membership is overlapping rather than a strict tree.

Selective fidelity specifies what a larger representation must keep. In the garment example, removing front/back direction makes two source-defined conditions indistinguishable even though their assigned evidentiary outcomes differ. A compressed record must therefore retain that direction. It need not preserve every unrelated detail of the garment. This is a useful representation constraint, not a discovery of a unique physiological compression algorithm.

Attention identifies what is presently selected; the retained relational organization supplies what can be reopened; a wider comparison may change the next selection or action. Previously explored material need not be simultaneously conscious. Nor does an author’s instructional sequence establish the reader’s actual attention trajectory. To move from text organization to cognitive operation requires a distinct behavioral or computational test.

Retained distinctions: current focus versus available history; depth versus dimension versus resolution; individual node versus group; group activation versus group creation; overlapping membership versus a rigid tree; stored record versus consequential use. These are reusable schema fields, not six discovered mental faculties.

Current source context: Y-Theory retains explicit golden-ratio arguments and a conditional seven-depth address derivation. This package’s “declared architecture” wording concerns what these textual studies independently recover; it does not erase those existing derivations. Read their exact premises in Seven recursive depths and Golden inheritance.
