Cross-dimensional behavior transfer through a shared Y position

Two different identities should share a behavior only when the invariant is declared through their corresponding engine position before the second result is opened.

Exact question

Can structural position predict an analogous behavior in a different carrier without erasing the carriers’ differences?

Declared relationM_A(x_A)→r_Y; predeclare r_Y and Δ_AB; predict y_B=g_B(r_Y,Δ_AB) before observing holdout B

Native mechanism → Y relation

Preserve the carrier before translating the structure.

The mapping is auditable only when both descriptions remain visible. Y language does not overwrite the equation, mechanism, units, boundary conditions, or uncertainty of the field being studied.

N · native statement

Each domain retains its own identity boundary, scale, variables, mechanism, measurement uncertainty, and mature baseline.

Y · relational translation

A mapping proposes that the two identities occupy the same inside, outside, relation, polarity, or ordered engine role while expressing it through different native variables.

Calibration and withheld return

The answer must not help write the question.

Calibration establishes measurement and allowed parameters. The held-out test remains unseen until the identity rule, model, uncertainty, rivals, scoring, and failure threshold are frozen.

01 · premises / calibration
  1. Calibrate the Y position and translator only on domain A plus the designated calibration subset of B.
  2. Freeze both identity boundaries, scales, native mechanisms, invariant, expected difference, parameter budget, and uncertainty before opening the B holdout.
02 · verification / held-out test
  1. Predict a quantitative behavior, ordering, failure transition, or intervention response in whole unseen B conditions.
  2. Repeat on a second independently selected identity pair without changing the relational role definition.

Rivals · failure · present state

A claim becomes informative where it can lose.

No visual resemblance, repeated phrase, source density, or author confidence substitutes for a discriminating return.

Rival explanations
  • Carrier-native model in B
  • Generic similarity model
  • Complexity-matched transfer learner
  • Post-hoc analogy
Failure / narrowing rule

Reject or narrow the invariant when the preregistered behavior does not transfer, the expected dimensional difference is wrong, or a rival predicts the holdout equally well with less freedom.

Protocol status

Editable draft for preregistration; no cross-domain pair is yet registered as a passed prospective transfer test.

Does not establish

Shared words, numbers, images, phase portraits, or post-hoc resemblance do not establish correspondence, mechanism identity, or universal law.
