Local cognitive mind

When can a bounded identity model possible continuations and redirect itself?

A local cognitive mind retains and integrates history, models compatible continuations, acts through a selected route, receives prediction error, and corrects later operation.

These are reference views of a concept. For the explanation in order, follow the complete narration with its constructions.

Identity boundary

Inside and outside exist here only through their relation.

The roles move when the selected identity or scale changes. This page declares the current reference instead of pretending the labels are absolute.

I

Inside

A bounded history-bearing model and present state.

R

Relation

Prediction, action, error return, and correction.

O

Outside

Possibilities, other identities, and consequences not controlled by the model.

Y-Engine operation

Follow the change, not just the noun.

Geometry lens

See the relation as form and movement.

Show a loop that can pause external action, simulate more than one path, then reopen its direction after returned error.

Matrix lens

Make the addresses and transforms explicit.

Maintain separate state, model, action, outcome, and error coordinates. Fluent output or a stored dataset alone does not fill them.

Manifestation lens

Ask what this means in an actual domain.

Brains, collectives, and digital systems may instantiate different portions of this capability; the evidence must be stated for each system rather than transferred by analogy.

Claims, lineage, and proof boundary

The explanation resolves to exact governed addresses.

Recurrence, synchrony, memory, data storage, or fluent output alone does not establish cognitive capability or subjective experience.

Mind-structure and local self-correcting mind capability

Uppercase Mind names the recursively reusable inside-outside-relation structure through which identities form and nest at every scale. A local cognitive mind earns self-correcting capability when its bounded, history-bearing relation can retain, integrate, model, and redirect consequential change; observerhood is therefore a later capability of Mind-structure, not the point at which Mind first appears.

Boundary, dependencies, and source

Guardrail: Universal Mind-structure does not establish local observerhood, phenomenal consciousness, intention, or a universe-level self. Memory, recurrence, synchrony, data storage, or fluent output alone do not establish those later capabilities.
