How does a manifested identity remain related to compatible possibility?

At the Mind-level, Y-Theory reads existence as present manifested identity, consciousness as Source-facing compatible possibility within that identity, and awareness as the actively maintained relation between them.

Existence-consciousness dimensional polarity

Across the primary Y-Theory polarity, present manifested identity is the existence-facing pole, compatible Source-facing possibility is the consciousness-facing pole, and awareness is the maintained coupling relation between them. Physical and mental identities can therefore be compared through corresponding structural positions while remaining dimensionally and mechanistically distinct.
