A larger structure needs the right organisation to stay stable

Protection depends on restoring routes, coupling and delay, not simply on how many identities are nested.

Results of the documented finite candidate equations, including counterexamples to size-only protection. No infinite structure or conscious observer was simulated.

Allow compatible movement while correcting deformation

A candidate recursive-field model separates deformation error e from a common turning phase. The selected law ė=−γe−κLe+f corrects deformation using a positive restoring rate γ and a symmetric nonnegative graph Laplacian L. The phase can continue turning independently.

Without forcing, V=||e||²/2 decreases as V̇=−γ||e||²−κeᵀLe. This establishes decay of deformation under those assumptions while compatible movement remains available.

Size does not replace the return rate

The saved comparison uses the same uniform forcing in fields with 100 and 10,000 addresses. Uniform forcing cancels the Laplacian contribution. Both sizes have the same bounded response at a stronger restoring rate, and both leave the selected band at the same time with a weaker rate.

A nearest-neighbour ring offers another lesson: its slowest nonconstant recovery mode becomes slower as the ring grows at fixed edge strength. Whole-field averaging has a different spectrum. How participants connect matters.

More layers can add lag as well as smoothing

A chain of first-order filters suppresses fast variations but also delays slower ones. Choosing seven filters illustrates that tradeoff; it does not independently derive the source’s seven-depth architecture.

The later author correction therefore remains central: depth, cross-mode participation and consequential return must be considered together. Stability of a deformation variable alone does not demonstrate awareness.
