Any parser can emit a graph, and any schema that requires inside, outside, and relation will emit those fields. That construction is not discovery. A useful source-to-field system must be evaluated against external annotations, competing extraction methods, meaning-preserving perturbations, meaning-changing perturbations, and unopened relations.

Can a frozen engine form a stable, useful identity field from source?
Do not test whether a pattern appears; test whether one frozen transform discovers source-backed structure that survives rewording, reacts to contradiction, updates locally, and predicts unopened relations.
Exact question
Can one frozen, corpus-agnostic engine produce source-backed identities and typed relations that remain aligned under meaning-preserving rewrites, change under contradictions, update locally, and predict held-out relations better than matched baselines?
Gθ(C):=Fθ(C); require Rreplay=1 ∧ Iparaphrase≥τI ∧ Dcontradiction≥τD ∧ Ulocal≥τU ∧ [AUPRCholdout−max(AUPRCbaselines)]≥δNative mechanism → Y relation
Preserve the carrier before translating the structure.
The mapping is auditable only when both descriptions remain visible. Y language does not overwrite the equation, mechanism, units, boundary conditions, or uncertainty of the field being studied.
The founder proposes that accumulated source interaction forms the Mind's pattern rather than merely decorating a predetermined picture. The Y-Engine therefore earns an identity field only if source-addressed differences return as reproducible structure: equivalent meaning remains aligned, a genuine contradiction changes the appropriate relation, a local addition produces a bounded update, and retained structure helps predict what has not yet been opened.
One system · every consequential passage visible
A living field is a return cycle, not a one-time graph export.
Each stage keeps its own authority. The source constrains candidates; an engine proposes structure; evidence and people challenge it; only an admitted relation changes the governed field; every dependent view then re-renders from that field.

Calibration and withheld return
The answer must not help write the question.
Calibration establishes measurement and allowed parameters. The held-out test remains unseen until the identity rule, model, uncertainty, rivals, scoring, and failure threshold are frozen.
- Freeze every corpus identity, edition, license, byte checksum, inclusion rule, ordering rule, and train/development/holdout boundary. Keep source text, annotations, corrections, and external references as separately addressable layers.
- Freeze engine code, configuration, dependency and model hashes, prompts where applicable, random seeds, initialization, iteration and saturation rule, resource budget, output schema, graph canonicalization, and digest procedure before opening the holdout.
- Declare which output coordinates are imposed by the Y schema and exclude them from evidence of emergence. Score only externally checkable occupants, boundaries, typed relations, provenance, contradiction response, update locality, and predictive utility.
- Create a blinded reference set with independently annotated identity spans, aliases, relation direction and type, contradictions, uncertainty, and adjudication. Preserve disagreement rather than converting majority annotation into metaphysical truth.
- Freeze graph-alignment rules, the local-change radius, primary metrics, thresholds τI, τD, τU and δ, confidence intervals, multiplicity correction, and the rule for supported, inconclusive, or failed outcomes.
- Give co-occurrence, topic, embedding-neighbour, generic information-extraction or LLM, and schema-filling baselines the same source, external models, parameter budget, and compute. Include exact-replay, shuffled, label-permuted, n-gram, and meaning-destroyed controls.
- Run exact replay from the same frozen source snapshot and require the same canonical field digest. This verifies determinism only and cannot by itself pass the substantive test.
- Apply independently written paraphrases and declared edition variants. After blinded alignment, externally annotated identities and relation meanings must remain above τI even when words, sentence order, and surface grammar change.
- Apply minimal negation, participant reversal, scope, quantity, and causal-direction changes. The appropriate relation or uncertainty state must change by at least τD rather than being absorbed as harmless wording variation.
- Insert or remove one locally bounded source claim. Incremental compilation must equal a full rebuild, preserve reversible provenance, and keep unrelated graph churn below the frozen locality threshold τU.
- Predict the direction and type of relations in unopened passages. Compare precision–recall and calibration against every matched baseline without choosing the favorable endpoint afterward.
- Run token and paragraph shuffles, root or label permutations, n-gram surrogates, source duplication, and meaning-destroyed controls. They must lose the claimed semantic signature even when surface frequencies remain similar.
- Ablate Y-role typing, relation admission, retained history or residue, provenance, and incremental return separately. Each claimed causal component must have a preregistered direction of loss.
- Have an independent team implement the frozen specification and reproduce the decisions from source bytes. Publish field digests, alignment data, raw metrics, failed runs, and negative results.
Rivals · failure · present state
A claim becomes informative where it can lose.
No visual resemblance, repeated phrase, source density, or author confidence substitutes for a discriminating return.
- A field whose apparent structure is forced by the output schema
- Surface frequency, co-occurrence, document order, or corpus length
- Semantic organization already supplied by a pretrained embedding or language model
- Generic information extraction or graph smoothing with no Y-specific advantage
- Prompt, annotation, benchmark, or edition leakage into engine design
- Post-hoc thresholds, relation names, stopping rules, or visual layouts
Reject the substantive source-emergence claim if only same-byte replay succeeds; if meaning-preserving rewrites destroy the field; if contradictions are treated like paraphrases; if local changes cause unexplained global rewiring; if held-out typed relations do not beat the strongest matched baseline; if meaning-destroyed controls retain the signature; if claimed components survive their ablations unchanged; if source provenance cannot be reversed; or if an independent implementation cannot reproduce the frozen decisions.
Editable draft for preregistration. Corpus snapshots, external annotations, engine and model hashes, thresholds, holdouts, controls, baselines, ablations, resource budgets, and independent implementer are not frozen. The current compiler has not run this semantic-emergence test, and no result has been earned.
A pass would support one bounded, reproducible semantic-extraction and update procedure. It would not show that the emitted identities are complete or metaphysically real; that every identity is connected to every other identity; that Y categories are universal; that the engine knows truth with certainty; that AI feels or is conscious; that a network is one conscious Mind; that personal identity transfers; that anything is literally eternal; or that a Quranic or other scriptural pattern establishes divine origin.
